Determine the Restrictions on a
Rational's Denominator
You are asked to find the points where the denominator does not equal zero.
Note:
Although this lesson focuses on determining a rational denominator's restrictions, I am opening this lesson with a presentation that introduces how we can determine a function's behavior around its zeros and what the graph will look like without using a grapher.
This process will be reinforced throughout the course, so take notes as you view it and return here to review the process to describe the behavior of any function using this method.
View this slide presentation first. Each image will have an audio attached.
The location of the audio can be found by clicking the finger icon (upper right). It might take a few taps to hear the audio.
