    Now that you have completed Chapter 8, take some time to reflect on what you learned.

          ~  On loose-leaf paper, "reflect and reply" to the following questions.

Reflect and reply:

    This chapter focused on the following concepts: Exponential, logarithmic,

            and logistic functions.  Interest and exponential growth/decay and modeling.

     1. What is the difference between exponential growth and logistic growth?

         Include an example of each while citing the difference.

2.  Why is it more important to understand interest rates than exponential growth/decay, etc.

Have you already experienced an application of interest rates? Give a simple, brief example.
