Reflections - Chapter 10
Now that you have completed Chapter 10, take some time to reflect on what you learned.
~ On loose-leaf paper, "reflect and reply" to the following questions.
~ Your reflection must include complete sentences or visual diagrams with explanations.
~ Upload your reflections to Google Classroom.
~ Save as Ref_C10_LastName.
~ Your reflections will not be graded, but you will receive credit for submitting your answers.
~ Point value: 2 pts
Reflect and reply:
This chapter focused on the following concepts: Graphing trig functions, using various sine and cosine formulas, inverse trig functions, direction, bearing, and angle of elevation/depression.
1. You learned how to graph sine and cosine graphs without a grapher and learned that the amplitude (A), period (B), horizontal (C), and vertical (D) shifts transform the basic sin/cos graph. Although tedious, explain how the written process helped you understand how A, B, C, and D affected the function's ordered pairs.
2. What do you consider the most important thing you learned in this chapter? Explain.
Work-Time Sheet
